Eternia is accelerating its aluminium window systems business as Hindalco Industries scales operations with a new flagship experience centre in New Delhi and expanded manufacturing in North India. The company inaugurated the experience centre in Lajpat Nagar as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in India’s premium building solutions market. The move comes as demand for system-driven, performance-focused construction products continues to grow across residential, commercial and high-rise developments. Hindalco is leveraging Eternia to shift from conventional fabrication-led windows towards precision-engineered systems supported by integrated manufacturing and material innovation.
Eternia has recorded nearly 65 per cent compound annual growth over the past three years and is targeting revenue of more than ₹1,000 crore by financial year 2029. The brand currently operates through over 170 channel partners across more than 100 cities nationwide. According to the company, India’s windows and façade segment represents a market opportunity of around ₹40,000 crore, with premium categories growing at approximately 15 per cent annually. This trend is being driven by increasing demand for high-performance building materials that combine aesthetics, durability and energy efficiency for modern projects.
Eternia’s product portfolio is built around Duranium, Hindalco’s patented aluminium alloy, which the company says delivers greater strength than conventional aluminium windows. The systems are tested against global performance benchmarks and Bureau of Indian Standards standards, while the company’s WiWA scoring system helps customers evaluate performance across wind, water and air parameters. Eternia is positioning itself to move beyond material supply into higher-value engineered building solutions, strengthening the company’s presence in India’s growing construction ecosystem. The focus remains on system-driven design rather than component-based fabrication.
Commenting on the development, Satish Pai, Managing Director, Hindalco Industries, said the company sees significant opportunities in providing engineered, system-driven solutions for India’s evolving construction sector. He noted that Eternia represents a shift from conventional fabrication-led windows towards precision-engineered systems supported by integrated manufacturing and material innovation. The statement underscores Hindalco’s intent to capture premium demand through technology-backed products. Kopal Agrawal, Chief Executive Officer – Aluminium Downstream, Hindalco Industries Limited, was also present at the launch of Eternia’s Bilaspur manufacturing facility.
To strengthen manufacturing capabilities, Hindalco has established a new facility in Bilaspur, Gurugram. Spread across 120,000 square feet, the plant will have the capacity to manufacture up to 250,000 square feet of windows every month. The facility is strategically positioned to serve the growing North Indian market and improve delivery timelines. In addition to production operations, it houses a dedicated research and development centre and a training facility designed to support skill development among fabricators and installers.
The company expects the facility to create employment opportunities for more than 300 people while supporting product development, manufacturing efficiency and long-term business expansion. The Bilaspur unit will function as a hub for Eternia’s northern operations, reducing lead times and enabling closer technical support for channel partners. Backed by Hindalco’s integrated aluminium value chain and downstream manufacturing network, Eternia is building a complete ecosystem from alloy development to finished window systems. This integration helps control quality, performance, and supply consistency for large projects.
Hindalco is using Eternia to address India’s shift toward organised, performance-certified building products in the premium segment. With the windows and façade market expanding, the brand’s combination of proprietary materials, testing protocols, and pan-India partner network aims to meet developer requirements for speed, compliance, and durability. The New Delhi experience centre will showcase system performance to architects, consultants, and buyers, while the Bilaspur plant ensures capacity for projected demand. Through Eternia, Hindalco is aligning manufacturing scale with evolving construction standards across residential towers, commercial complexes, and institutional projects.
