Innovative Solution for Sustainable Spaces
Parador has announced the global launch of Taterra, a next-generation, PVC-free resilient flooring collection. Taterra is the flagship product of Parador’s new Eco-Flooring category, created in response to growing demand from architects, interior designers, and specifiers for flooring solutions that deliver authentic material quality without environmental and health compromises.
Product Overview.
Taterra is a category creation, designed from the ground up to meet the demands of high-performance spaces. “Taterra is not a product category extension,” said Neel Bradham, Chief Executive Officer, Parador. “It is a category creation. We designed it to answer what the most demanding spaces require: a resilient floor that performs at the highest commercial level, looks and feels like real wood, and doesn’t compromise on health, sustainability, or aesthetics.”
Design and Features.
Taterra is available in three plank formats (Wide Plank, Chateau Plank, and Herringbone) and three construction types, offering specifiers flexibility across multiple project typologies. The collection features eight colorways, spanning four visual families: Oak Terrena, Oak Vero, Larch Nivara, and Oak Aurea. Taterra’s patented electron-beam-hardened polypropylene surface delivers exceptional scratch and wear resistance, making it suitable for commercial use (wear class 33).
Sustainability Credentials.
Taterra is free from PVC and plasticizers, supports healthy indoor air quality, and carries certifications including Blue Angel, FloorScore, EMAS III, and EcoVadis Gold. The product’s sustainable design aligns with Parador’s ONE sustainability philosophy, prioritizing form, function, and responsibility.
