The Architecture and Design Film Festival (ADFF) returns to Mumbai with its second edition, ADFF:STIR Mumbai 2026, scheduled from January 9-11, 2026, at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA). Building on the success of its inaugural event, this year’s festival expands its scope, featuring over 25 award-winning films, ten architectural pavilions, and a dynamic talks programme.ยน
The film lineup showcases diverse narratives on architecture, design, art, and technology, including “Identity: A Czech Graphic Design Love Story” and “Tracing Light”. The Jaquar Pavilion Park, curated by Aric Chen, transforms the NCPA lawns with site-specific installations exploring “Frames of Reference”.ยฒ
“The first edition revealed gaps in how our communities perceive and connect across creative disciplines… The 2026 edition carries this ambition forward, more global and more intersectional,” says Amit Gupta, Festival Director and Founder & Editor-in-Chief, STIR.
The ~log(ue) Programme supported by JSW features influential voices, including LionHeart, Dr. Samuel Ross, and Paul Goldberger, discussing intersections of creativity and urbanism. Special projects include LIVinSET, culinary experiences, and a festival shop.
