Chaos, a Bulgarian-founded software company, has announced its acquisition of EvolveLAB, a US-based developer of AI software for architecture, engineering, and construction professionals.
The acquisition expands Chaos’ suite of technological solutions for architects and designers, covering every step of the workflow from idea generation to final visualization. EvolveLAB’s AI-based products optimize visualization, generative design, documentation, and technology interoperability in the sector.
Chaos already boasts an established portfolio of technologies for 3D visualization and animation in architecture, including Enscape, Envision, Corona, V-Ray, and Vantage. The integration of EvolveLAB’s AI-powered solutions aims to strengthen Chaos’ portfolio and provide innovative design and automation tools for complex processes.
EvolveLAB was founded in 2015 in the United States and provides generative AI technology for architectural modeling software. Its software, Veras, combines text-based idea descriptions with 3D geometry, delivering features to users of leading design and modeling software like SketchUp, Revit, Vectorworks, and others.
“EvolveLAB’s tools are already widely used by professionals for innovative design and automation of complex processes. Together, we will continue to develop these technologies, offering even better opportunities for creating personalized projects,” says Stefan Seiber, CEO of Chaos.
