Vishhvesh, a legacy brand in Chennai, has relaunched its store, offering a one-stop luxury interiors solution. Spread over 3,000 sq. ft, the store showcases a wide array of custom-made drapery, rugs, handcrafted carpets, premium wallpapers, and statement furniture pieces. Dhruv V. Patel, 33, and his brother Harsh manage the store, which was first launched in 1971 by their grandfather Jashbhai Patel.
The store has expanded its focus to include rugs, beddings, and furniture, catering to evolving customer demands for diverse textures and contemporary styles. With a catalogue of 500-600 options, Vishvesh offers a luxurious, one-stop solution by bringing together multiple brands, giving each segment a significant space to be displayed properly. The idea is to provide customers with a convenient shopping experience, eliminating the need to visit multiple stores.
Vishvesh collaborates with well-established Indian and international brands, including Atmosphere and Vaya from Bengaluru, Ara Deco from Delhi, Clarke & Clarke (U.K.), and Armani Casa. The store exhibits a strong focus on fabric, with curtains priced between โน600 and โน60,000 per metre of cloth, and wallpapers starting at โน55-โน70 per sq.ft.
The store also features hand-tufted carpets, accent tables inspired by nature, and upholstered furniture pieces. A dedicated bedding section, in collaboration with Delhiโs Sheers of India, offers exclusive handmade bedding and pillows. The store’s design, curated by architect Indu Sugumar, incorporates sustainable elements, such as LED lighting and reused plywood.
