London-based Spacehub has been selected to lead the design of outdoor areas in the £110m Fort Regent regeneration project in Jersey. The firm will work on amenities like a pump track, skate park, and children’s play garden. Spacehub was chosen after a “rigorous and competitive” tender process, bringing international expertise to the project.
The regeneration aims to enhance public areas, improve access routes, and prioritize accessibility. Spacehub is collaborating with specialists like Velo Solutions and Maverick Skate, and involving children and young people in shaping outdoor elements through workshops.
The project will close Fort Regent for around three years, delivering a transformed site with a focus on unique character and ecology.
