Interio by Godrej has secured a ₹69 crore order from Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) for electrical, ventilation, and fire systems for Phase 2 of the Kochi Metro project. The company has also completed a ₹24 crore design-and-build contract for KSITIL’s Infopark project in Kochi.
The KMRL order covers electrical, ventilation, air conditioning, and fire protection systems for ten elevated stations, property development areas, and viaduct sections. Interio by Godrej has also been declared the lowest bidder for architectural finishing work at five elevated stations.
The KSITIL Infopark contract comprised over 50,000 sq ft of office interiors and about 65,000 sq ft of façade works. The project incorporated sensory-responsive design and adaptive lighting intended for neurodiverse users.
