K Raheja Corp, one of India’s leading real estate conglomerates, has launched Reverse Mentoring, a people-focused learning initiative designed to encourage meaningful dialogue between senior leaders and younger employees across the organisation. The K Raheja Corp Reverse Mentoring programme reflects the company’s commitment to building a progressive, inclusive, and future-ready workplace where learning flows both ways. Through the initiative, senior leaders gain fresh perspectives on emerging trends, evolving workplace expectations, customer behaviour, technology, digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence, communication shifts, and future-ready skills.
Two-Way Learning
The K Raheja Corp Reverse Mentoring programme gives younger employees direct access to leadership conversations and a closer view of how decisions are shaped. The initiative has been introduced across the Group’s businesses, including Mindspace Real Estate Investment Trust, Chalet Hotels, Inorbit Mall, and K Raheja Corp Homes. As part of the program, senior leaders participate as mentees, while mid to junior level employees take on the role of mentors. Leaders identify areas where they want to gain new perspectives, and employees volunteer as mentors based on their knowledge, interests, and experience.
The Human Resources team then pairs participants by matching common themes and learning goals. Following the successful completion of its first cohort, K Raheja Corp Reverse Mentoring will continue as a long-term learning and development initiative within the organisation. Each mentor–mentee pair participates in approximately four to six one-on-one sessions over three to four months. The sessions are informal, flexible, and focused on practical as well as strategic themes that are relevant to the future of work.
The initiative is aimed at creating a stronger culture of openness, collaboration, and continuous learning. It also gives employees a platform to share their ideas, be heard by senior leadership, and contribute meaningfully to the organisation’s growth journey. K Raheja Corp Reverse Mentoring brings outside-in thinking and new-age learning into leadership discussions while helping younger talent understand enterprise decision making. The structure supports honest feedback and builds trust between levels.
Speaking on the initiative, Urvi Aradhya, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, K Raheja Corp, said, “Through Reverse Mentoring, we are creating a space where leaders can learn directly from the perspectives of younger employees. It helps us bring outside-in thinking, new-age learning, and honest feedback into leadership conversations. At the same time, it gives our younger workforce access to leaders’ time and a better understanding of how decisions are made. This initiative reflects our focus on building a more connected, collaborative, and future-ready organisation where every voice has value.”
K Raheja Corp Reverse Mentoring complements the company’s wider learning and development ecosystem. Other initiatives include I-GROW for individual contributors, I-LEAD for early-career managers, leadership development programmes such as Shikhar and Future-Forward, and focused initiatives such as Sheroes and PowHER, which support women’s leadership and career advancement across the organisation. Together, these programmes reflect K Raheja Corp’s continued focus on employee empowerment, inclusive growth, leadership development, and building a workplace prepared for tomorrow’s opportunities.
