Bengaluru‑based Sattva Group has made its first move into the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, announcing six redevelopment projects that together span about 8 million sq ft of construction area and carry an estimated gross development value of nearly Rs 11,000 crore. The portfolio includes residential and commercial components in Parel (Sewri), Prabhadevi, Goregaon East, Vile Parle West, Powai and the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) vicinity. Across these sites, the company expects to deliver more than 2,500 rehabilitation homes and over 2,000 newly built residences.
Construction is slated to start in 2026 and will roll out in phases through 2032, with the first hand‑over targeted for 2028. The launch marks another Bengaluru developer’s entry into Mumbai’s competitive market, following recent forays by Embassy Group, Prestige and Puravankara.
“Mumbai is entering a defining phase of urban renewal, driven by the need to replace ageing structures with safer, well‑planned, future‑ready housing. Redevelopment requires clarity, discipline and long‑term commitment, values central to Sattva’s growth over the past three decades,” said Bijay Agarwal, Managing Director, Sattva Group.
He added, “Our entry into Mumbai is a strategic extension of our legacy of delivering large, technically complex projects on time and with consistency. We look forward to contributing meaningfully to the city’s next decade of growth.”
The move aligns with Sattva’s broader strategy of expanding its presence in high‑growth urban centers, leveraging its experience in large‑scale, technically demanding developments to tap Mumbai’s redevelopment pipeline.
