Interihotel BCN25, a leading event for hotel and restaurant design, will host the Interiors Living Lab, an experiential space featuring four areas: Concept Rooms Lab, Xperience Lab, Materials Lab, and Craft Lab. This innovative project, promoted by AMBIT Cluster, aims to investigate the influence of interior design on guest behavior and generate applicable knowledge for the sector.
The Concept Rooms Lab will feature two new concept rooms developed by prestigious interior design studios and renowned hotel chains. These spaces propose alternative hospitality models, focusing on well-being, sustainability, and hyper-personalization. The participating studios and chains include:
– Mindful Explorer Concept Room: Designed by ILV* studio and inspired by Mercer Hotels, this room conveys serenity and elegance.
– Nomadโs Concept Terrace: Designed by PhiBa Architecture and inspired by Medplaya, this concept bar redefines collective space.
The Xperience Lab will allow visitors to interact with emerging technologies, including mixed reality, video projection, and generative artificial intelligence. The Materials Lab will host the exhibition โConscious Materiality,โ showcasing circular, healthy, and innovative materials. The Craft Lab will feature the exhibition โTowards a New Spatial Articulationโ, highlighting contemporary craftsmanship.
