Bangur Concrete, a division of Shree Cement’s Bangur Master Brand, has launched its first Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) facility in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This strategic move strengthens the company’s presence in eastern India and marks a significant step in its national growth journey. The plant, located at Seri Khedi, has a production capacity of 60 cubic meters per hour and is designed to cater to the state’s fast-growing infrastructure and real estate requirements.
The new plant features advanced, automated batching systems and eco-friendly processes to deliver high-performance concrete while minimizing environmental impact and supporting India’s sustainability goals. Modern batching systems, precision-controlled material handling, and automated processes form the backbone of the unit’s operations. By adopting these measures, Bangur Concrete aims to enhance efficiency and minimize wastage, contributing to lower carbon emissions.
The Raipur unit is expected to serve both government and private sector projects, offering reliable and eco-conscious concrete solutions. With Chhattisgarh witnessing a steady rise in infrastructure activity, Bangur Concrete is poised to play a key role in meeting this demand while contributing to the state’s development trajectory. The company indicated that further expansions in other high-growth regions are being considered as part of its long-term plan to scale its RMC business across India.
Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director, Shree Cement, said, “Chhattisgarh represents a dynamic and rapidly growing market with immense infrastructure potential. By commissioning our first Ready Mix Concrete plant in Raipur, Bangur Concrete is taking a significant step in its national growth journey. This facility strengthens our presence in eastern India and reinforces our commitment to delivering sustainable, high-quality concrete solutions to support the region’s evolving needs.”
With this launch, Bangur Concrete now operates a network of 22 RMC plants across India, each incorporating advanced batching and stringent quality control processes. The company has been positioning itself as a partner for green construction practices, aiming to align with India’s broader climate and sustainability goals. The emphasis on environmentally responsible production practices underscores the company’s commitment to a low-carbon future.
