Plantec, Inc., a Tokyo-based company, and ID Architects Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based architectural design firm, have signed a memorandum of understanding for a strategic partnership to expand into the Asia-Pacific region. Both companies share a common vision of “solving management issues through architecture.”
Plantec has been progressing in its global strategy since launching overseas operations in Vietnam in 2011 and establishing a local subsidiary in Thailand in 2012. The company has completed numerous innovative architectural design projects in ASEAN countries, the United States, and Mexico. In February 2025, Plantec completed the registration of its local subsidiary in Mexico and plans to expand its business in North and South America and Europe.
The partnership will enable both companies to engage in joint ventures in the countries where they operate, leveraging their respective technological capabilities and market access. Singapore, where ID Architects is based, is a key geopolitical location and business hub in Asia, and the partnership is expected to accelerate Plantec’s business expansion in ASEAN and the APAC region.
