Mangalam Cement Ltd has been declared the Preferred Bidder for the Nimana-Duniya Extension Block in Kota district, Rajasthan, after participating in a forward e-auction. The strategic acquisition is expected to strengthen the company’s raw material security and support its long-term production capacity. This move aligns with the company’s growth ambitions in the infrastructure and housing sectors as part of the BK Birla Group.
The auction was conducted via MSTC’s portal and issued by the Directorate of Mines & Geology, Government of Rajasthan. The development marks a key milestone under SEBI’s disclosure norms, reinforcing transparency and investor confidence. Mangalam Cement’s shares rose 2.39% in early trade to Rs764.80 following the announcement, reflecting a positive market response.
This acquisition is part of the company’s efforts to expand its operational footprint across northern India. By securing the Nimana-Duniya Extension Block, Mangalam Cement is poised to boost its resource access and future production prospects, supporting its long-term growth strategy.
