The House of Things, founded by siblings-in-law Astha and Manan Khetan, marks its tenth anniversary with the opening of a 25,000-square-foot flagship gallery in Udaipur. Housed within a 65,000+ square-foot facility, the gallery celebrates global design, artistry, and craftsmanship, as per a press release.
Initially launched as an online portal in 2015, the platform now features over 200 designers, artisans, and brands. The newly opened gallery is a sensorial experience, offering curated pieces from furniture and textiles to art and collectibles.
This March, the space launched with a special collaboration curated by Feroze Gujral, titled Tastemaker’s Edit. Her selections include ‘Lime Oasis’, a vibrant study space in lime green, black, and ivory, and ‘Desert Rose’, a pink-themed living room featuring a pink quartz dining table.
“At the House of Things, spaces transform. A house becomes a home, and a home becomes a haven,” said Feroze Gujral, guest curator and philanthropist.
The gallery includes dedicated spaces like The Pichwai House, showcasing traditional Nathdwara art, and Alchemy, a material library with artisanal and contemporary finishes. A fashion atelier features wearable art by designers including Aneeth Arora (Péro), Sonam Khetan, Verandah, and De Castro, along with jewellery from Devi Jaipur and Jobner.
“At the House of Things Gallery, we cherry pick design, collectible objects, and art to showcase creative concepts as mood boards that have come to life,” said Astha Khetan, Co-Founder, The House of Things and The House of Things Gallery.
A bar and lounge complete the space, inviting visitors to explore curated interiors, discover emerging talent, and reimagine inspired living through thoughtful design.
