Tim Fu, former architect at Zaha Hadid Architects, has unveiled the design for seven luxury villas on the shore of Lake Bled in Slovenia. This project, led by Studio Tim Fu, is touted as the “world’s first fully AI-driven architectural project.”
The 22,000 sq m development combines human creativity with AI, blending traditional Slovenian motifs with modern design. The project includes six new villas and the restoration of Vila Epos, a cultural monument designed by Jože Plečnik in 1909.
“We’re at a crossroads, a moment of profound change,” says Tim Fu. “AI is igniting a revolution in design. By tapping into the creative potential of machine intelligence, we can bring this groundbreaking development to life with unmatched speed and precision.”
The villas are guided by biophilic principles, incorporating natural light and positioned around a central communal park. The use of AI optimizes design, ensuring sustainability, contextual sensitivity, and precision.
