Poltrona Frau has introduced the Archibald Denim Edition armchair, featuring a unique denim upholstery inspired by the world of fashion. This exclusive design combines the comfort and style of the Archibald armchair, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, with the timeless appeal of denim according to a press release.
The fashion and design worlds have long been intertwined, with creativity, experimentation, and style driving both industries. This collaboration has resulted in the Archibald Denim Edition, which brings together the elegance of Poltrona Frau’s design with the casual charm of denim.
The Archibald Denim Edition armchair boasts a distinctive denim jacquard fabric in organic cotton, featuring a deep indigo hue and a signature diagonal twill. The fabric has undergone a special wash to enhance its resilience and suitability for upholstery. The armchair’s design is completed by double rows of top-stitching on the padded contours and a new ‘antique bronze’ finish for the chair base, inspired by the rivets and metal hardware typical of jeans.
The Archibald armchair is also adorned with a camel-coloured Cuoio Saddle leather label, heat-embossed with the ‘Archibald Denim Edition. Unique, like you’ logo attached to the rear.
The Archibald Denim Edition will be available exclusively online through the Poltrona Frau website, with availability in select European countries.
