Buckinghamshire-based door and window manufacturer Origin Frames Ltd has secured a £2.5m asset finance loan from Lloyds to support its growth plans. The investment will enable the company to establish a specialist powder coating division, creating 25 new skilled jobs in the area.
The £10m purpose-built facility in Bicester will bring powder coating services in-house, allowing Origin Frames to increase production from 130,000 to 150,000 frames per year. The company, which employs around 400 people, aims to expand its presence in the Middle East and US markets.
Ben Brocklesby, sales and marketing director at Origin Frames Ltd, stated, “By investing in powder coating technology, we can maintain high standards, reduce costs, and deliver quicker turnaround times for our customers.”
Daren Rose, relationship director at Lloyds, praised Origin Frames’ innovative approach, saying, “This investment demonstrates the company’s commitment to improving its business and the sector as a whole. We’re pleased to support Origin Frames in achieving its growth objectives.”
