Lalique has opened its immersive retail and lifestyle flagship, Maison d’Artiste, in the historic Chopard Mansion on New York City’s Upper East Side. The five-story townhouse showcases the brand’s luxury crystal creations in an intimate, residential setting.
Designed by Marc Larminaux, Artistic and Creative Director of Lalique, and Christos Prevezanos, Founder and Principal of Studio Preveza, the space features exquisitely curated areas, including the Veranda d’Essences, Salon d’Exploration, and Bar & Lounge. Each space reflects a unique pillar of Lalique’s art of living, paying homage to the rich artistic and cultural heritage of New York City.
The interior design features bespoke crystal installations, including a light wall composed of 36 Lauriers panels, a whirl of 62 light crystal Swallows on the ceiling, and a spectacular dome of 177 illuminated crystal Anemones. The Lalique Interior Design Studio (LIDS) has also created a space on the fourth floor, offering bespoke crystal components and fixtures.
The property’s historic Beaux-Arts design features an intricately carved limestone façade and elegant black metal accents, providing a timeless backdrop for Lalique’s fusion of heritage and modernity.
