The IE School of Architecture and Design at IE University has launched its first annual yearbook, showcasing a curated selection of student work from 2024. The 2023-24 Yearbook features projects from across the school’s Architecture, Urbanism, Design, and Real Estate courses.
The yearbook includes research projects from the university’s laboratories, highlighting the institution’s innovative and multidisciplinary approach. “This book captures a year’s worth of our collective endeavour to fulfil our mission, to build a better world one day at a time,” said David Goodman, Dean of IE School of Architecture and Design.
The yearbook showcases various student projects, including the Kiri Table, an experimental furniture piece made from recycled fishing nets, and a cordless lamp influenced by Richard Sapper’s Tizio model. Other projects featured include The City Under a Tree, which proposes new spaces for the Malaga Trade Fair and Conference Centre, and Plantae, a residential neighbourhood that integrates lessons from the Dutch relationship with nature.
The yearbook can be accessed digitally, and more information about IE University and its courses can be found on its website.
