Foster + Partners’ design for the Rise Tower in Saudi Arabia’s North Pole district is set to make it the world’s tallest tower, standing at 2 kilometers high. Located in Riyadh, the tower will be part of a groundbreaking district prioritizing vertical living, renewable energy, and green spaces.
The Rise Tower will feature residential, commercial, and industrial zones, along with parks, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and entertainment spaces. With stunning views of the city, the tower is expected to transform Riyadh into a global business and tourism hub.
The construction of the Rise Tower is estimated to cost $5 billion. The Public Investment Fund (PIF) has invited bids to oversee the construction, with firms like Aecom, Bechtel, and Jacobs among the proposed bidders.
“The Rise Tower Riyadh is going to redefine the skyline of the city and set the bar high for future tall building innovations globally,” the report highlights.
