US-based architecture firm EHDD recently announced the launch of C.Scale, a groundbreaking building decarbonization software. This innovative platform utilizes machine learning models to analyze and sort carbon data, empowering architects, engineers, and construction professionals to make climate-sensitive decisions.
C.Scale will operate as a public-benefit corporation, independent of EHDD, to attract significant investments and accelerate the deployment of its technology. Jack Rusk, former director of climate strategy at EHDD, will lead C.Scale as its CEO.
“The climate crisis demands bold action at unprecedented speed and scale,” said Rusk. “As an independent company, C.Scale can now accelerate the deployment of our technology to transform how every building project worldwide approaches carbon reduction.”
EHDD, known for delivering net-zero buildings, aims to democratize access to carbon data through C.Scale. This initiative will enable firms worldwide to achieve similar results.
