Liebherr has unveiled major advancements to its K series of fast-erecting cranes, integrating cutting-edge technologies aimed at boosting safety and operational efficiency. The latest models in the series—43 K, 61 K, 91 K, and the updated 125 K—now feature five intelligent assistance systems. These include sway-free load lifting without diagonal pull, enhancing safety for both personnel and crane components, alongside semi-automated lift functions designed for ease of use.
In addition, the cranes are equipped with the new Liebherr Control 5 system and the Tower Crane Operating System 2 (TC OS 2). These systems offer intuitive navigation with user-friendly symbols and icons, while a standardized radio control is now available across all cranes in the current K and L series, simplifying operations further.
The K series cranes cater to diverse construction needs:
- 43 K: The smallest in the series, it provides eleven hook heights, reaching up to 30.2 meters, with a maximum radius of 35 meters.
- 61 K: With a hook height of up to 33.4 meters and a maximum radius of 43 meters, it also introduces a new 30° luffed position for enhanced site adaptability.
- 91 K: Designed for multi-occupancy buildings and industrial projects, offering versatility and reliability.
- 125 K: The largest in the series, it combines top-slewing crane capabilities with fast-erecting crane mobility, achieving a hook height of 41.5 meters, a radius of 55 meters, and a lifting capacity of 8,000 kilograms.
