Cromton Greaves launches its built-in kitchen manufacturing unit at Vododra

A leading player in the electrical appliances industry, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has inaugurated its cutting-edge manufacturing and assembly operations for built-in kitchen appliances at its Vadodara facility recently. Spread across 23 acres, this new facility signifies Crompton’s unwavering commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative, facilitating the efficient production and delivery of its innovative product range to consumers nationwide.
The Vadodara facility is equipped with advanced digital processes and infrastructure, placing a strong emphasis on quality and operational excellence. The assembly line features state-of-the-art technologies designed to minimize changeover time and ensure automated inspection systems for maintaining stringent quality standards.
The unveiling ceremony witnessed the presence of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd.’s Board of Directors and senior leadership team in Vadodara, Gujarat. During the inauguration, Promeet Ghosh, Managing Director & CEO, underscored the strategic importance of the kitchen segment for Crompton. He expressed confidence in the Vadodara setup’s ability to bolster the company’s position in offering superior quality ‘made in India’ products. Ghosh also highlighted the facility’s pivotal role in introducing new-age kitchen appliances characterized by exceptional quality and finesse.
Pravin Saraf, Head of Manufacturing, Planning & Logistics, emphasized the launch of the new manufacturing line as a testament to Crompton’s steadfast commitment to quality and innovation.
