JSW Cement, the IPO-bound cement venture of the USD 24.25-billion JSW Group, plans to invest around โน3,000 crore to establish an integrated cement manufacturing facility in Rajasthan, marking its entry into the northern markets. The proposed investment will be funded through a mix of equity and long-term debt, the company announced on Tuesday, adding that it would create more than 1,000 direct and indirect jobs. Managed office space provider Skootr plans to add 5 million square feet to its inventory by FY2028 at an estimated investment of Rs 1,000 crore to expand its portfolio and widen its footprints across key micro markets of the country, Anuj Saxena, co-founder of Skootr said. The company launched its premium flexible workspace โSkootr Palace Parkโ, sprawled over 1.03 lakh sqft in sector 129 along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. Paint companies recently dropped the prices following the decline in raw material costs. This comes as a benefit to the consumer. While competition has increased in the category, companies say they are not apprehensive of it. Asian Paints, the largest player in the segment, and Berger Paints cut prices in the quarter ended March. Asian Paints cut prices by 3.7 per cent, the company said in its earnings call.
