Khadi Prakritik paints, which use cow dung as a โ€œsignificantโ€ ingredient, have been certified for their quality and eco-friendly attributes by the National Test House (NTH), the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution said on Sunday. In a statement, the ministryโ€™s Department of Consumer Affairs said, โ€œKhadi Prakritik paints are devoid of heavy metals..โ€The paints also โ€œmark the significant utilisation of cow dung as a raw material, contributing to environmental cleanliness โ€, the statement said.
