Jayesh Mehta named as new indepent Director at Ajmera Realty and Infra India

Ajmera Realty & Infra India has onboarded Jayesh Mehta as an independent director. Effective from 11th August 2024 for a tenure of five years, Mehta brings over 35 years of experience in Indian fixed- income markets and has made significant contributions towards the sector with a commendable career track record.
He is currently vice chairman and CEO of DSP Finance from January 2024. He was MD, country treasurer at Bank of America N.A. till Dec 2023. Furthermore, he has held leadership roles in industry associations, including the Primary Dealers’ Association of India and FIMMDA and contributed to regulatory and legislative reforms as a member of various committees, including the Reserve Bank of India’s technical advisory committee and the Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission.
At Ajmera Realty he will play a key role in enhancing the corporate governance of the company, bringing his vast experience and independent judgement to oversee key areas such as strategy, operations, risk management, succession planning, and protecting the interests of stakeholders.
