The 5th Moscow Interior and Design Week, a prominent event in the industry, successfully brought together over 1,100 companies, with 45 international participants contributing to the global appeal of the event. More than 180,000 visitors had the opportunity to experience the latest in interior design innovation over the course of four days.
This year’s theme, ‘Russian Style’, highlighted the unique expression of Russian traditions through the creative designs of domestic brands. Delegates from 22 countries attended the event to explore these cultural influences in design. The ‘Made in Moscow’ project, featuring products by Moscow-based manufacturers, drew particular attention.
A life-sized fairy-tale log cabin became a standout attraction, with visitors greeted inside by characters from children’s stories. This creative marketing approach generated significant excitement among guests and foreign delegations.
The exhibition served as a platform to promote business growth in the decorative and interior design sectors. It featured an innovation zone curated by the Moscow Innovation Cluster, where attendees could explore unique solutions for faรงade and storefront design, as well as home and office technologies.
The project’s grand finale will be the exhibition ‘110 Years of Russian Design’ at the New Tretyakov Gallery, featuring the best works from the 5th Moscow Interior and Design Week. The display will include tapestries, ceramics, lighting fixtures, textiles, and more. Opening on December 24, the exhibition will run for an entire year.
