Italian brand Visionnaire recently unveiled its lighting collection 2024 for the upcoming festive season. Designed by renowned international designers including Alessandro La Spada, Gupica, m2atelier, Draga & Aurel and StudioPepe, the collection showcases progressive lighting designs, fine Italian craftsmanship and new-age materials. Each piece is a masterful blend of elegance and sophistication, perfect for illuminating chic homes and luxurious office spaces.
Visionnaire’s lighting collection 2024 includes the Polaris suspension lamp by Alessandro La Spada, an example of craftsmanship and modular design that give rise to a unique yet reproducible product. The lamp design with a circular form is made through the combination of concave parts in steel, and completed by a diffuser in onyx with an organic form. This sophisticated chandelier unites the worlds of technology and nature.
The Sputnik chandelier designed by Draga & Aurel is inspired by retro-futurism. This modular lamp is made with a large-scale brass mesh which underlines the strong link and contamination with the world of Space Age fashion. For the Sputnik-Oxy pendant lamp, the world of fashion and jewellery are clear references for the Italian designers. An evolution of the Sputnik family, this lamp takes cues from retro-futurism. The rhomboid elements in metal with a shiny gold finish bring to mind the futuristic inspiration of Paco Rabanne’s collection, who in his signature style, experimented with different materials.
The Lucente lamp is a lighting design project by Gupica for the Italian brand, with a collection inspired by the behaviour of light that breaks and reflects on the faceted surfaces of precious stones, giving life to suggestive luminous effects. The diffusing bodies of the lamps, which take on the appearance of coloured gems with volumes of sophisticated simplicity, are composed of a material obtained from Plexiglass, which is reborn with a completely new appearance. The opaque LED light source, passing through the stones, produces diffused lighting that enhances the transparency and colours, made by hand with a particular gradient appearance.
Also designed by Gupica, the Aracea lamp is inspired by a liana with large oval and heart-shaped leaves. Delicate with an iconic presence, this LED light source, like lifeblood, passes through the central rib of the leaf producing direct lighting (which is also directable), simulating the natural movements of a leaf. The product design is equipped with a handy dimmer system that allows you to modulate its light intensity to ensure visual well-being. It is available as a floor lamp, wall lamp, table lamp, suspension and sky-floor lamp.
Visionnaire’s Parade suspension lighting system by StudioPepe is an installation of glass elements that recall the shape of the tongue. Taste is one of the most important senses and in this case, it is the metaphor of an all-encompassing sensory experience. Certain tastes and smells can trigger distinctive dormant memories like events, places or people.
The Apple floor lamp designed by m2atelier is a sophisticated contemporary design which will add glam to both indoor and outdoor spaces. The marble base containing the switch supports a slender metal structure that terminates in a circular diffuser. The luminous disk, adjustable thanks to the presence of an upper handle covered in leather, spreads and aims the light, for an extremely intriguing atmosphere.
