Cement consumption in Spain increased by 4.3% year-over-year (YoY) to 1,345,612 tons in November 2024, according to Oficemen, the country’s cement association.
In the January-November 2024 period, the domestic cement market expanded by 1.8% YoY to 13,649,961 tons.
“With 11 months of data, we can confidently predict a slight positive growth for the year, as forecasted in January,” said Aniceto Zaragoza, General Manager, Oficemen. “This trend gives us optimism for 2025, with expectations of a more significant increase in consumption.”
