Amsterdam-based Icecat, a product content syndication provider, has acquired key assets from Decodata, a Dutch data solutions company specializing in home and interior design. The acquisition follows Decodata’s bankruptcy and includes its brand, domains, client and product data, and software. Ryder Architecture and 3XN GXN have been selected to provide architectural services for the University of British Columbia’s (UBC) Lower Mall Precinct Phase One project. Valued at $560 million, the project is the largest provincially funded student housing initiative to date, adding over 1,500 new beds to help meet British Columbia’s target of 6,700 new beds by 2028.
