Somany Ceramics has announced the completion of modernisation of its production lines at Kassar (Haryana) plant.
As per the filing, the company aimed to upgrade the plant to increase the production capacity of value-added ceramic tiles. The upgraded plant will help in achieving the same. Commercial production at the plant has already started.
Post the upgrade, the production capacity of the Kassar Plant will increase to 19.63 Million from 17.13 Million square metres per annum.
Somany Ceramics Ltd ended at INR 815.2, down by INR 22.05 or 2.63% from its previous closing of INR 837.25 on the BSE. The scrip opened at INR 851.4 and has touched a high and low of INR 857.4 and INR 815.2 respectively.
