Pune based Effingut Brewerkz won a Gold in the Hospitality, Recreation, Travel and Tourism Design Category and a Silver in the Interior Space category at the prestigious global A’ Design Awards in Italy as well as the Interior Design-Sustainable Living/Green at IDA Design Awards in Los Angeles this year. Both the A’ Design Awards and IDA Design Awards highlight and honour ground breaking work in modern design, design concepts and design oriented products available worldwide in all creative disciplines and industries.
Overwhelmed with the success, Manu Gulati, Master Brewer and Co-founder, Effingut Brewerkz said, “We are ecstatic at receiving these awards and being appreciated for our unique design and hospitality. Representing India and winning this among other commendable entries from across the globe makes it all the more significant. The journey in the last 3 years has been exciting and our lovely patrons motivate us to keep innovating all the time. With our eyes and hearts set on expanding to multiple locations across India, we will continue to champion our product and who knows, even reach global domination someday, with this first step!”
Speaking on this occasion, Effingut’s architect, Ketan Jawdekar, explained, “After the successful story of one brewpub, Effingut Brewerkz continued its journey with the second brewpub in utmost style. The goal was to create a space where there’s something for everyone. The interiors are wood dominated that one can smell, the backdrop of a speaker wall and curved mirrors in the washrooms were some of our quirky creations and designs at Effingut. With all of this, you would also be amazed to see a table hanging from the wall ‘to make you feel up in the air’. These are customised designs that are derived from the brand’s philosophy. It is a combination of retro and modern in feel. I am thrilled to be receiving three such prestigious awards for my work,” he said.
With the on-going success at their three brewpubs in Pune, Effingut Brewerkz intends to launch more branches in other cities of India soon.
