
Germany’s VEKA group and NCL Group of Hyderabad have joined hands to set up a uPVC profile manufacturing next year.
The agreement is to shape the future of NCL Wintech, a part of the NCL group and a leading manufacturer of uPVC profile for windows and doors in the country. According to sources, land for the proposed plant has been identified in Medak, near the existing facility of NCL. Work on the plant is expected to begin shape around June 2018.
In a press release, Andreas Hartleif, CEO, VEKA Group said, “The technological expertise that VEKA brings will allow our Indian operation to build a strong platform for product innovation and substantial growth in India.” VEKA was keen on pursuing joint long term goals in India, he added.
uPVC windows have become popular among building materials in the country in recent years. Ashven Datla, MD of NCL Wintech described the agreement as a milestone for the company. The NCL Group is a manufacturer of building materials and the product range includes cements, cement particle boards, AAC blocks, renders, and pre-coated steel window systems, the release said.
