
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) – the creators of the LEED green building rating system – in partnership with ABEC Exhibitions & Conferences Pvt. Ltd., (ABEC) announced that the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis will officially inaugurate Greenbuild India in Mumbai on November 2, 2017 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO). Greenbuild is the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building and is premiering in India for the first time.
“We are thrilled that the Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be gracing our first-ever Greenbuild in India, thereby strengthening the commitment Maharashtra has toward making green living a reality,” says Mahesh Ramanujam, president and CEO, USGBC and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), the organisation that certifies all LEED projects globally.
