
B.D. Nayak, a Braintree, MA-based architect, has been elevated to American Institute of Architects College of Fellows and was awarded a Fellowship Medal at an investiture ceremony during AIA Conference on Architecture in Orlando.
Nayak received his architectural education at MIT and Harvard University (cross registration) and graduated from MIT with Master of Architecture Degree in 1970.
The 2017 Jury of Fellows from the American Institute of Architects elevated 178 AIA members to its prestigious College of Fellows from all over the United states. An honour awarded to members who have made significant contributions to the Architectural profession and the society on a national level.
Nayak has been serving the Indian and American communities since 1985.
