Asian Granito India Ltd (AGIL), India’s tile company has been honoured by Fortune India as one of The Next Fortune 500 companies in its ranking for the year 2017. Company was honoured with the award from Fortune India as one of the Top Wealth Creators over the last 3 years. Amitabh Kant, CEO of Niti Aayog and D. N. Mukherjee, Editor of ‘Fortune India’ presented the award to Bhupendra Patel, Associate Director, Asian Granito India Ltd at a ceremony organised in New Delhi on July 21, 2017.
Overall ranking of the company jumped 54 places to 274 in the year 2017 from 328 in 2016. For the FY 2016-17, AGIL reported net profit of INR 39.11 crore on Net sales of INR 1,065.95 crore. Market capitalisation of the company on July 25 is over INR 1,250 crore.
