WADe India is a platform to celebrate women-led development in the fields of Architecture plus Art & Design. The event will be held on October 28 and 29, 2017 (Saturday and Sunday) from 9:30 am onwards at The Leela Ambience in Gurgaon. The event will witness the industry coming together to celebrate the milestones achieved by women in this field.
WADe Asia Event is about soulful knowledge-sharing on Architecture, Art and Design, and celebrating women-led development. A gathering of some of the best designers from India and neighbouring countries, WADe 2017 will have the presence of passionate octogenarian Didi Contractor known for her sustainable creations for the past six decades, alongside young emerging architects in their 20’s who are leading the change in their cities.
Vertica Dvivedi, Founder, WADe Asia said, “WADe AWARD COMMITTEE hosts the Award functions to recognize the best works and contribution by Women Designers, Artists and Architects. The categories are YoungWADe for young designers, WADeStudent, WADeExcellence, and Special awards are for WADe RoleModel, WADe Sustainability Champion, and WADe Academia Award. This year, someone noteworthy from Asia will also be given the Lifetime Achievement Award.”
