
Aparna Group continues to pursue its strategy of focusing on internal growth in high-potential markets with the inauguration of the Vitero Tile Factory, in Peddapuram, near the port city of Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
The Vitero Tile manufacturing factory was commissioned by Nara Lokesh, Cabinet Minister for Information Technology and Panchayati Raj in Andhra Pradesh, amidst a distinguished gathering of leading politicians, senior members of the State Administration and top management of Aparna Group companies.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashwin Reddy, MD of Aparna Enterprises, said, “The demand for higher quality of life is ever-rising. I know very well that providing Indian builders with world-class building material products is a priority in the agenda of Aparna Group. With its reputation for coming up with innovative solutions, I am sure that this advanced Tile Factory will be able to meet and contribute to fulfill the demand for high quality vitrified tiles.”
The VITERO Tile Factory is a significant milestone for Aparna Group, as it will help provide an expanding footprint to serve its customers in South India and across the country as well.
Commenting on the new plant, S Aparna Reddy, Director, Aparna Enterprises, said, “The 9,75,000 Sft Vitero Tile Factory is the first tile production facility of its kind in South India. It boasts of the largest gas-fired kiln (265 mtrs long), and has a capacity of producing 15,000 sq. meters per day (5.47 million sq. meters per annum). The fact that Aparna Group has invested in excess of INR 320 crores in the plant, makes one thing clear: The Group is totally convinced in the ease of doing business in AP and that Vitero Tiles will be a marketing success.”
The Group is in an expansion mode and plans additional investments of INR 1500 crores to set up new tile factories in Rayalaseema and other regions.
