All spaces in this project, such as the gym, family area, library and music corner, flow seamlessly into each other and are divided by the use of glass panels. The luminosity that these partitioning permits, has been enhanced by using oversized skylights which provide an incredible amount of natural light and energy to this interior, particularly to the living room.
The Holland Park project is a mix of styles, surfaces and textures that beautifully marry together to create a look that is timeless and sophisticated. It’s a space where old meets new, style meets personality, and family comfort meets formal elegance.

|Shalini Misra finished her MSc in architecture at UCL Bartlett in London. In her career graph, she has designed several homes internationally. Her love of travel and ability to absorb different cultural designs have helped her to create exclusive and eye-catching high-end interiors.
The philosophy employed at Shalini Misra’s design studio is about characterful, timeless interiors which combine elements of old and new layering, full of texture and interest.
She believes in eco-friendly design whenever possible and often re-uses or updates existing fittings, sourcing one-off vintage items and recycling pieces of furniture. Shalini is on the Tate’s SAAC committee which acquires art from South Asia and regularly attends art shows globally.
Not only a designer but also a luxury developer, Shalini has a remarkable real estate portfolio with 2 award-winning penthouses located in Regents Park. Shalini is often asked to lecture in universities, interior design schools and conferences where she highlights the importance of deriving the right concept for each project.
Shalini Misra’s most recent acquisition is a grand Victorian lateral apartment in the heart of Mayfair that required complete refurbishment, and has many exciting projects in the pipeline; including the launch of her beautiful ceramic pots, inspired by leaf patterns and her collaborations with high profile furniture makers.
